Finding the Perfect Date-Night Outfit

Have you ever called a girlfriend in a panic the day of a big date? It’s funny how a little thing like a date suddenly makes what was a perfectly adequate wardrobe suddenly seem non-existent or just all wrong. Here are some outfit ideas so that when you’re shopping, you can keep your eyes out for perfect pieces (possibly even ahead of time? One can wish…) and you might even find a new way to wear something you already own!

The Maxi Dress:maxi dress

Easy to look pulled together even though it’s just one article of clothing. Add a pretty piece of jewelry, either a statement necklace or a pretty bracelet, and you’re good to go!

Comfy draped sweater or top:comfy top with pencil skirt

Pair with a slim-fitting skirt or even some skinny jeans and add a bit of flash with some sort of fun accessory. You’ll look effortlessly gorgeous.

The floral dress:floral dress

Date-night classic. Feminine and  comfortable. Try to change the look of a dress you already have by wearing it with different accessories, like chunky bangles or a sleek belt at the waistline.

Sleek and sexy skinny jeans:

Perfect with a casual top or a dressy blouse. Add your favorite heels; instantly chic. This look can also be easily dressed up or down depending on your date destination!

The daring show of skin:black mini skirt

Whether you like to show off your killer legs or sultry shoulders, keep your look balanced by pairing with something a bit more demure. For example, wear that mini skirt with a loosely fitting top. If your top is tight and/or showing off your decolletage, wear with pants or a longer, flowing skirt. You’ll wow in the right way. Marilyn Monroe said it well, “Your clothes should be tight enough to show you’re  a woman but loose enough to show you’re a lady.”

Solid-colored dress: solid dress with fun accessories

Everyone must own a great-fitting dress in a solid color. They’re so versatile! The “little black dress” rule applies for almost any solid color. You can wear it for a bunch of different occasions and totally change the look of a dress with layering pieces and accessories.

A great outfit can certainly ease your mind and boost your confidence. Once you’ve got the basics down you can relax and enjoy yourself! Remember: “Happy girls are the prettiest.” – Audrey Hepburn
